AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie was left bloodied after a battle with Napoli winger Matteo Politano during Sunday night’s game, it has been revealed.
According to what is being reported by Milan TV (via MilanNews), Kessie suffered a painful injury in during Napoli-Milan. In the first half the Ivorian was hit in the face by Politano with a violent elbow that cost him a tooth.
From the television images it was clearly seen that Kessie was losing blood from his mouth – and as you can see from the photo below he spat a lot of blood out – but the referee Paolo Valeri incredibly did not even whistle a foul.
Kessie went to the dentist this morning to get proper treatment, but as mentioned he lost a tooth.
