AC Milan will be without Christian Pulisic this weekend, but it seems another star may have recovered in time for the Lazio game.
After the derby win, Milan have been riding a wave of positivity, but some injury news has brought things to a bit of a halt. In midweek, it was suggested that Alexis Saelemaekers and Christian Pulisic may not be available for this weekend’s game.

Since then, it has been a waiting game for the Belgian, but the American has already been ruled out.
Doubts for Allegri
It is not all bad news, though, with Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews) writing that Saelemaekers will be fit for this weekend’s game. He has since trained with the squad, and he will be available for selection.
There is no doubt that Pulisic will be absent, but there is one regarding who replaces him. This morning, Gazzetta dello Sport wrote that either Christopher Nkunku or Ruben Loftus-Cheek would start, but it seems that the Frenchman is favoured. Yesterday, according to Corriere dello Sport, he worked as a starter.
Elsewhere, Davide Bartesaghi’s position is being looked at. After his performance in the derby, he is preferred to Pervis Estupinan, but the Ecuadorian is not losing the position without a fight.

I’d actually start with RLC instead of Nkunku. I guess it means we’re REALLY desperate.
RLC is a better shout because he slots into midfield for a defensive role better than Nkunku would. He has the size, stregth and speed to help in attack as well.
RLC will be essential in the later stages to shore up the defense if we are holding a small lead.
If you run Leao and RLC into the ground from the start, and THEN sub on an ineffective Nkunku, then that won’t be ideal. We’d have the last 17 minutes of the Inter match all over again.
