Key Milan duo at risk of missing important Lazio clash due to suspension

By Isak Möller -

As if Milan didn’t already have enough absences, they could be without two key players for the game against Lazio, namely Theo Hernandez and Franck Kessie. Currently on four yellow cards each, they need to be careful.

The two have been crucial for the Rossoneri as of late amid all the injuries, constantly performing on a very high level. And with Stefano Pioli currently lacking good alternatives for those positions, it wouldn’t be great to have one of them or both suspended.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport (see photo below), Hernandez and Kessie will play from the first minute against Sassuolo tomorrow. In order to avoid a one-game ban, they need to steer clear of the yellow card, which might not be easy.

Of course, they have managed before and we can only hope that they will be available for Wednesday’s game. If not, then Diogo Dalot and Rade Krunic are the natural replacements.
