Jovan Kirovski arrived at AC Milan to support the Milan Futuro project grow, but so far, the project has been immensely disappointing, and relegation to Serie D has been possible.
Starting a project as big as the Futuro will always be difficult, but with Milan, success is always desired. So, seeing the youth project stutter in its first year has certainly been a disappointment, with many seeing it as another failure of the management.
However, in recent weeks, there has been a bit of growth, with the club rising from their relegation-threatened position. Here we must credit the management of the project for the decision to hire Massimo Oddo, the man tasked with saving the season.
One of the big faces in the management of the project is Kirovski’s whose role at the club is the sporting director of the Futuro. Naturally, then, he has been one of the biggest targets for the criticisms of the current situation.
However, he has not hidden from the picture, and as Milan News writes, he has once again been present at the Futuro’s game, this time against Ternana, who have been fantastic over the course of this season, a chance to study their formula, perhaps.
Failing? Literally just beat someone at the top of the table and now have stablised the team
It was always going to be difficult when the 1st team kept poaching their players.
At this point finishing bottom is out of the question so Milan will just need to finish as high as possible and likely need to win the relegation playoff, doable.
Oddo should have been brought in sooner. But better late than never. And he did correct the ship.
Kirovski being at a game should not be news! That’s his job and part of his role.
He is SUPPOSED to be there EVERY WEEK – HOME AND AWAY.
If he doesn’t go to games which are a major part of this project then he should be cast aside.
