MN: Krösche lays out demands for Cardinale – what it will take for him to join Milan

Markus Krösche is largely expected to join AC Milan in a role above being a technical director and he has laid out his demands.

Hiring a sporting/technical director has been a long process for Milan, almost like it was last summer. It seemed a deal was all but done for a leading candidate, but then things got complicated. Nevertheless, movement is now being made.

After the setback of Ralf Rangnick’s decision, the Rossoneri quickly moved to another option in Krösche and he has rarely been doubted since then. Indeed, the German is the primary candidate and it seems further restructuring could take place.

Krösche’s demands laid out

Rather than being the technical director, it appears he could join the club as the ‘Head of Football’ and this is why MilanNews reports that he wants ‘carte blanche on everything’. In other words, he wants complete control of the project from a footballing side of things, as Calciomercato.com relays.

This would include a complete say in who joins him at the club, so bringing Timmo Hardung with him would be his first act. The pair work together at Eintracht Frankfurt and he is keen to extend their relationship.

Ralf Rangnick claimed over the weekend that he never asked for full autonomy, so whether Krösche’s request will have an impact remains to be seen. However, it seems deals could progress soon.

  1. People are whining Milan didn’t get the 67 year old guy that never worked at a big club and those clubs didn’t really win anything. This guy won more in his short career, but you didn’t hear about him 10 years ago and now again so he isn’t good? 😀

      1. What about him? For the 50th time, which of his teams won? He built what? RB Leipzig? They are finishing 3rd or 4th. I’d rather get someone that also likes to win, not just develop kids.

So, since I don’t know anything, can you show me the trophies of Rangnick?

        1. i can see you’re not very smart and you’re quite young. Ragnick is known as the father of Ghen Ghen press in football which revolutionized German footballing style as a whole, so every successful manager like Klopp and Glasner who used this to win trophies all have 1 thing in common, they use less funds, and get, identify, build and produce star players under them, cardinale wants more money without having to spend alot, and the fans of the club want glory and long term one , which is a match made in heaven for both parties at this point in time, now can you highlight the benefit of Amorim and Kroche ( apart from the fact that he’s almost Ragnick pattern like)

    1. It’s great that you like Krösche but this is RedBird’s Milan, so I’d probably wait for an official statement and photographic proof before you start gushing too hard.

      1. The guy is a “baby Rangnick” of sorts, but the teams he helped built won more. And he is not 67.

Since Romano gave a here we go for Amorim I think that’s it.

  2. “In other words, he wants complete control of the project from a footballing side of things”
Didn’t Rangnick want the same thing?

  3. “It is set to be a crucial few days for Milan, who remain in talks with several candidates over their vacant head coach, sporting and technical director roles, but owner Gerry Cardinale and advisor Zlatan Ibrahimovic were all smiles as they attended the ‘UFC Freedom 250’ event on the White House lawn over the weekend. ”

Why am I not surprised that both of our clowns in charge turned out to be MAGA-clowns as well? 💩💩💩💩
