Krunic believes Milan ‘deservedly won’ against and highlights team’s main strength – video

AC Milan midfielder Rade Krunic has claimed that the strength he and his team-mates have is ‘knowing how to suffer’ after last night’s win against Roma.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic was the star of the show again as he scored the opening goal with a free-kick and won the penalty that Franck Kessie despatched to make it 2-0, but a red card for Theo Hernandez and an El Shaarawy goal in the 93rd minute made it a nervy finish.

Speaking to the microphones of Milan TV, Krunic offered an assessment of the win against the Giallorossi in the capital with his comments relayed by MilanNews.

“Our strength is knowing how to suffer, we all suffer together as a group. We did it very well in the first half and after Theo was sent off we acted as a team,” he said.

“We are capable of great matches and we are used to shifting our type of game from match to match. We know both how to play well and how to play gritty games and that makes a strong team.

“We deservedly won against Roma. Now we have two important games ahead of us, we need to rest well and we need to prepare well for the match against Porto and then for the derby.”
