Krunic believes Milan have ‘prepared well’ for opener and assures: “I’m always ready”

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan will start their season in less than 20 minutes and they will do it against Sampdoria at the Marassi. Rade Krunic is one of the eleven players that will play from start and he needs to make a good impression.

The Bosnian international normally wouldn’t start for the Rossoneri, and especially not in that position, but the condition of Ismael Bennacer forced Stefano Pioli to make the decision. One that didn’t exactly excite the fans.

In an interview with MilanTV a few minutes ago, as cited by MilanNews, Krunic assured the fans that he’s ready for the game and also shared his thoughts on Milan’s situation as a whole. He, once again, assisted that they are ‘well prepared’.

It starts again, how are you physically?

“We have prepared well, we have known the coach for a long time and it is our great advantage. We had time, we prepared ourselves above all for this first match which for now is the most important.”

You immediately get the opportunity to show yourself…

“For me, it is a very important thing, I am happy to play and to try to help the team. I’m always ready, then the coach makes his choices.”

On the fans at the stadium…

“Even if we are away, it will be nice to play in front of them. We can’t wait to get back to San Siro in front of our fans.”

Hopefully, they will come away with all three points as starting the season with a win is always so important. It would certainly give them a nice confidence boost for the rest of the week.
