Sky: Krunic poised as Brahim Diaz trains separately ahead of Spurs game

By Oliver Fisher -

There are still strong doubts about Brahim Diaz’s availability for Wednesday night’s Champions League match against Spurs, a report claims.

According to what was reported by Peppe Di Stefano of Sky (via MilanNews), Brahim Diaz once again carried out an individual training session today and therefore did not train with the rest of the squad group due to the sprain to his knee suffered before the Fiorentina game.

He cannot definitely be ruled out yet but tomorrow’s training session will be decisive in understanding he will be fit enough for the match in London, be that in the starting line-up or off the bench.

Rade Krunic meanwhile is warming his engines again after serving a one-game league ban and the Bosnian could be given the nod to start in place of the Spaniard on the right side of the attack, guaranteeing Pioli a bit more protection in his 3-4-2-1.

  1. What at all does Pioli have againt playing a 3 man midfield ? Always blind to the obvious and not proactive enough.
