Watch: Krunic and Saelemaekers see penalty appeals rejected vs. Napoli

AC Milan appeared to have two good shouts for a penalty waved away during last night’s 1-0 Champions League win against Napoli.

The first incident was just before the half-time whistle when a corner was met by the head of Simon Kjaer and smacked into the crossbar, but Rade Krunic was not given much chance of getting back involved as he was hauled to the floor off the ball.

The second shout was in the closing stages when Alexis Saelemaekers darted into the box and appeared to be blocked off by Stanislav Lobotka, with a tangling of legs too.

  1. Spalletti is a loser in his mind. Napoli will win the Serie A this season bcos of the unexpected burst they had at the beginning of the season after letting many of the players leave

And also the drop in form and/or motivation of Milan and Inter

  2. Stone cold clear as a sunny day penalty on Saele. How did that not get reviews is beyond me? And why we didn’t crowd the refs like other teams i dunno, though I hate that type of thing this time it was warranted. Man got feet and no ball. I didn’t see the Krunic one but looking at this replay, smh. We should have been up 3-0 with the tie almost done. Now we have to go whoop them 4-0 again in Naples

    1. It was absolutely not a penalty on Salaemakers. That is why the commentators on BT sport (Martin keown an experienced defender) and the VAR team did not think for 1 second it would be given
