Krunic thanks Milan staff and fans after exit: “You never abandoned me” – photo

By Oliver Fisher -

Rade Krunic completed a move to Fenerbahce earlier in the week, and he has published a message on social media to thank everyone at AC Milan.

Last night Milan confirmed the departure of Krunic who landed in Turkey on Friday to complete his move to Fenerbahce. Contrary to previous reports, the midfielder has joined the club on an initial loan deal, but the obligation to buy should be almost automatic.

Speaking in a post on his Instagram profile, Krunic addressed a farewell message to his former team-mates and the Milan fans.

“After 4 and a half years I probably have a lot to say, but I’ll stop at thanking you. I will start with a big thank you to Paolo, Ricky and Zvone for giving me the chance to play in this great club,” he began.

“Thanks to Mister Pioli for all these years, to his trust in me and his respect for me. Thanks to the technical staff, the medical staff, to all the people who work at Milan who helped me in every way to make my personal life easier.

“Thanks to all the fans who were able to respect me, my dedication and desire to help the team. And above all thanks to my teammates. You know what I think of you as people and as players.

“Even in the many difficult moments, you never abandoned me, on the contrary you helped me overcome everything and become the best person. I love you. Thank you for everything and FORZA MILAN SEMPRE!”

Seriously though, grande Rade! Thank you for the years of service. Decent utility player and played without any attitute when called upon with the Heart of a champion.

Hope you have an illustrious new chapter to your career.
