Walker tells Joao Felix: “Just pass the ball, we are not Messi” – video

A clip has surfaced which shows Kyle Walker imploring with Joao Felix to pass the ball just before the second half of the game against Napoli.

Felix has generally been criticised for his performance at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, with Sergio Conceicao’s decision to start him over Rafael Leao on the left not achieving the desired results.

It continues a trend for the Portuguese playmaker which is not exactly a positive one. Since scoring on his debut against Roma in the Coppa Italia he has really struggled to make an impact, and his fate is seemingly sealed.

Even his team-mates seem a bit frustrated. As the players were coming out of the tunnel for the second half, Walker can be seen saying: “Joao, just pass the ball. We are not Messi. No one here is Messi.”

    1. Hard to combine a whole teams skill into one player. But yeah he is good. Did Felix even have the ball during the last game?

Can’t remember him doing anything except that incredible two footed gliding tackle.

    2. Should it even be called irony if it’s the truth.
Which of our current crop of players can lace Messi’s boots🤔

  1. “No one here is Messi” is the main problem of the new generation of players. The mediocre mentality is gonna keep the quality of football low. The short passing possession football has lower the quality standards of players.

  2. Why trying so hard revive chelsea player ? Something wrong with Sergio, looks like Jorge Mendez ask him to play JF every match. The problem from JF, he dont have good finishing and keep forcing drible. He is more worst than leao, he will play for Galatasaray next season so thats is useless play him for the rest of season

  3. The worse player on the field. I don’t even get why he’s even still playing. He should have been sent back to Chelsea last month.
