LA Galaxy manager on Ibrahimovic: “Maybe he’ll end his career at Napoli or even Milan”

By Anthony Torgrude -

The ever enigmatic Zlatan Ibrahimovic, announced his departure from the MLS side LA Galaxy on Twitter yesterday. Now the rumour mill spins towards his next destination.

The current manager for his now former club, LA Galaxy, Guillermo Barros Schelotto was asked about the players future by Radio Kiss Kiss (Via Football Italia).

“I don’t know what Ibra will do now. He’s a wonderful player, but I don’t know what his next step will be, maybe he’ll end his career at Napoli or even Milan.”

“I don’t know where, but he deserves and wants to finish his career in Italy.”

It is no secret the player has always held Italy dear to his heart, having spent years of his career at all three major clubs in the league.

Napoli, while never being a former club, does have a former boss in Carlo Ancelotti for Zlatan to link back up with. The other option is AC Milan, the last Italian club that Ibrahimovic won a Scudetto with.

Milan are currently sitting in the bottom half of the table and having been in dire need for help, for quite some time now. It seems every summer since 2015 links between Milan and Zlatan gain traction. With the player soon entering the 39th year of his life, this could be the time he settles down and helps his former club.
