AC Milan midfielder Lucas Paqueta is continuing to attract interest from Fiorentina despite a difficult season so far, a report claims.
There is no doubt that Paqueta was experiencing a season to forget before the forced stop of Serie A and he will look to redeem himself when the Italian league resumes later this month.
Rumours are still circulating about his very likely departure from the San Siro in the coming months as the most expensive purchase of the Elliott era so far has about 50 days to change his story at Milan.
According to Florence-based newspaper La Nazione (via MilanNews), Fiorentina’s dream midfield signing is Brescia star Sandro Tonali.
However given his hefty price tag and the immense competitions, they have identified an alternative in Milan’s Lucas Paquetà. It is also a complicated pursuit as the Rossoneri are looking to recoup €30million by selling the Brazil international this summer.
