Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Italiano is facing something of a selection crisis when he takes his team to San Siro to face AC Milan next weekend, a report suggests.
As has been reported by Florence-based newspaper La Nazione (via Pianeta Milan), the Viola coach could spring a surprise in the defence with his choice of players, something that Stefano Pioli is going to have to watch out for.
The good news for Fiorentina is that right-back Michael Kayode is expected to make his return at right-back for this game, which would allow Fabiano Parisi to move to left-back. If Kayode is not fit, it will be one of Parisi and Niccolo Pierozzi on the right flank with Cristiano Biraghi on the left.
Italiano would like to use Lucas Martinez-Quarta and Nikola Milenkovic at centre-back but with the former not back from Argentina duty until Thursday, he may put faith in Pietro Comuzzo who is just 18 years old.
