La Nazione: Rebic fee fuels Fiorentina ahead of Milan clash – an opportunity to talk

Milan are currently gearing up to face Fiorentina at San Siro tomorrow afternoon, hoping to continue their good start to the season. 12 points separate the two sides as things stand, which is quite telling.

The Rossoneri will have to do without Zlatan Ibrahimovic, which surely will be a boost for Fiorentina. The latter recently sacked their manager, Beppe Iachini, and replaced him with Cesare Prandelli, who lost the first match (0-1 against Benevento).

That being said, Ante Rebic will be the striker for Milan instead of the Swede, bound to spark some emotion within the Fiorentina management. Why? Bild recently reported that the Rossoneri paid just €3m for the Croatian to Eintracht Frankfurt.

Fiorentina, as pointed out by La Nazione (via FiorentinaNews), were entitled to 50% of the fee and they surely won’t be happy with the outcome (€2.5m). Tomorrow’s game, therefore, will be an opportunity for the managements to talk.
