Diego Laxalt arrived at Milan this summer from Genoa and has so far featured in both Milan competitive matches as a substitute. The Uruguayan fullback, however, could start against Cagliari on Sunday. The 25-year-old spoke to the media about several topics, including striker Gonzalo Higuain.
“We have to think about the game, to find the desire and keep it in order to win. Step by step we can find this goal,” Laxalt told Sky Italia.
“Cagliari will be a difficult match. It is a very difficult stadium, we must find the desire to win.
“Higuain? The attackers live for goals, but in the last game he made a great assist. He did a great job in both matches.
“Difference between Gattuso and Gasperini? In the way of training Gattuso is very dynamic. Everything is done in high intensity. They have a similar way of playing, but on the pitch they are completely different. Gattuso wants to transmit the desire to the team and manages every minute,” the Uruguayan concluded.
