MN: Lazetic and Bakayoko take steps forward in programmes at Milanello

By Oliver Fisher -

Training resumed today at Milanello in view of AC Milan’s trip to face Cagliari on Saturday night and news has arrived on the condition of two players.

According to what is being reported by MilanNews, young striker Marko Lazetic went back to working with the rest of the squad today after a period in which he worked on his own to improve his athletic condition ahead of the season finale.

Tiemouè Bakayoko is also improving, and he carried out an individual training session but on the field rather than in the gym suggesting that he isn’t far away from shaking off the muscle problem he recently sustained.

With Milan top of the table and with nine games left in the league, every player that is available to Stefano Pioli is a resource that could be called upon at any moment, and the good news is that the team seem to be heading back towards full fitness (barring Simon Kjaer, who has a long-term injury).
