The game ends in a draw after a second-half comeback by Milan, courtesy of a Diego Moreira brace. A fantastic way for him to get his first goals for the club.
Considering how the first half looked, Milan should perhaps be happy with one point, but you can’t help but think they could have clinched them all.

Cisse fires just wide after a great move with Rabiot! That would have been a lovely goal.
WHAT IS GOING ON?! The ball lands at the feet of Moreira on the edge of the box and he has another go, finding the back of the net once again. Rabiot with the ‘assist’.

Rabiot finds Pulisic on the right flank, the American gets it under control and sends it to the back post, where Moreira meets the cross with a fantastic strike.

Nothing to say about that one. A late challenge by the Serbian on a counter-attack.
Pulisic forces the goalkeeper to a good save after nice work by Cisse.
Late lunge by the American there after a poor first touch. Clear yellow card.
Milan have been playing a lot better so far, with the substitutes definitely doing their part to raise the level.
Milan really need to step up their game in this second half. It was nowhere near good enough in the first 45 minutes.

Gennaro Gattuso’s men are in the lead after 45 minutes, deservedly so as they were much better than Milan, who barely created anything when going forward.
Ruben Amorim has to change something for the second half, otherwise the Rossoneri are doomed.
Three minutes have been added to the first half by the referee.
Loftus-Cheek’s deflected shot from distance nearly beats the Lazio goalkeeper. Corner at least.
That’s a very unlucky goal, depending on how you look at it. Taylor’s cross was deflected by Estupinan onto the bar, then headed in by Noslin as De Winter tried to clear the rebound.
Lazio 2-0 Milan.
Frattesi sends it just wide. Milan need to be careful here, otherwise they could have a mountain to climb.
Unreal save by Maignan on Zaccagni, making himself big, after a fantastic move by Lazio. That looked like it was going to be 2-0 for the hosts.
Cancellieri opens the scoring for Lazio. Really nice move to create the chance, BUT Estupinan definitely should have defended that cross better.

Noslin had to stretch a little to reach that cross, but that was still a fantastic chance that warranted a better finish (straight at Maignan).

this is the worst football i have ever seen. all of the defenders suck. all of our midfield sucks. all of our attack sucks. whose bright idea was it to sub off musah and start estupinian for 5 consecutive games. amorim the ball worked but only with the right oplayers . the goal was so comical. gila rabiot estupinan loftus cheek are all by far the worst players i have ever seen today. this is waorse than ALLL of allegri last season . somehow

I’m sorry to say this, but I think Modric is living off his reputation.
I’d feel bad if he was a Milan legend. But he’s not, he’s a Real Madrid & Croatia one. There’s no way he should ever be starting week in week out for this team.
Not feel, he actually is right now. The decision to start him is already giving us a man down on the midfield press and to think he has to take those awful corner kicks, it’s just sad to watch.
Milan are lethargic to watch. Amorim should stick to the team that played both Man utd and Torino game and build from them. Rabiot and Modric is a formula or should I say weapon fashioned against Milan.
The press is missing, too many misplaced passes. Body language of the team is not encouraging as if they force them to play the match.
Both the last game against Juventus and this one are eye sore.
Soon everything will fall apart because everyone will not put their mind to play again and we will have another disaster of a season.

Modric has been shockingly bad! As for Estupinan…no surprises there to be honest. He was terrible all last season and he will continue to be terrible this one. Also, there is a complete disconnect between that mid and Ramos. Hopefully Pulisic rectifies this ASAP having come on
When Amorim was first linked, I dismissed it as a silly rumour. I couldn’t believe management would be so stupid as to hire the most embarrassing coach in the EPL. Once he was hired, I expected he’d be fired by November. We could have hired Glasner. Maybe they’ll settle on Motta. I don’t see who else is available.

what did we learn… musah has somehow become consistently *okay* and we need that consistency (keep him on the field), we need Moreira on the left, we need Pulisic either on the right or left doesn’t matter as long as he is on the field, Estupinan should never play, RLC should be a sub at best, Modric should be a sub as well and we need to push for 3 points throughout the game and not for 10 minutes
Musah always had potential, he came through Arsenal’s academy after all.
