GdS: Lazio to have full-strength defence back in action for Milan clash

By Euan Burns -

Lazio are expected to have their full-strength defence back in action for the game against AC Milan at the Stadio Olimpico on Tuesday night, a report claims.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Milan News), there will be a rotation of Lazio’s defence, including the goalkeeper, following their match in the Coppa Italia earlier in the week against Bologna.

Nicolo Casale and Adam Marusic are expected to come back into the defence and Luis Maximiano will drop back to the bench in place of Ivan Provedel.

Lazio have often been easy to score against in recent seasons but they seem to be a lot better at the back this season as Maurizio Sarri’s methods start to bear fruit.

Following the points deduction that was suffered by Juventus due to their capital gains scandal, Lazio are now into the top four and will want to close the gap to Milan which stands at four points.
