Lazio are planning to use Felipe Anderson through the middle against AC Milan after Ciro Immobile was ruled out with a fresh injury, a report claims.
As has been reported by Il Messaggero (via Milan News), the Biancocelesti are going to use the Brazilian as the main striker with Italy star Immobile out after suffering an injury in the 2-0 win over Sassuolo last weekend.
Lazio have got no depth behind Immobile in that position which has led to them needing to use Anderson, who is not a natural striker but can do a job there.
It seems that will be the tactic deployed when they take on Milan on Tuesday night in Serie A, with Pedro and Mattia Zaccagni on either side of him.
It will likely be more of a false nine situation for Anderson as he seeks to bring the pacier attackers around him into the play on the counter-attack against the Rossoneri.
