The negotiations for Mario Gila have not yet been finalised and another player could be included in the deal as a result for AC Milan.
In recent days, the price of the Gila deal has been discussed heavily. Atalanta reportedly had a fee of around €25 million agreed, but it seems that Milan will not be able to benefit from such a discount. Instead, they will have to pay the full €30m.

Considering that the Rossoneri have a €27m offer on the table, they are not too far away from matching that valuation and things could certainly be finalised soon. In fact, the suggestion is that a deal could be wrapped up by tomorrow (Tuesday).
Milan looking to Calvani
As MilanVibes relays from Tuttosport, the deal could actually be aided by the inclusion of a young talent from the Laziali, whom the Diavolo have also been considering a move for.
Indeed, Lorenzo Calvani could also join the club in the deal to help the parties reach the €30m package which will be required. It would see the club pay around €25m for the Spaniard, with another €5m (or so) for the youngster.
Confidence should remain high, especially with Gila’s agent trying to push a move through. It may just be a case of waiting now, really.

Oh, that’s a clever way to do it if you’re Lazio. Reduce the amount on Gila that you have to split with Madrid. Overvalue a young player where you get all the gains.
give them RLC lmao
Indeed we did that a few years ago with the Rebic / Andre Silva trade.
Could even go further and sign Gila for 15mn and Calvini for 15mn but at some point you just p!ss off Real and given how much Serie A clubs rely on them for cheap transfers its probably not worth it in the long run (eg you want to be on the priority list to get the next Nico Paz or Hakimi )
You also fall foul of the fair transfers reviews if it’s completely out landing, like the Arthur Melo swap.got Juventus into bother for. Still happens of course (see Juventus and Aston Villa bailing each other out last year) but much less obviously.
TBH, I thought that is signing Kostic was a way to funnel money to Vlahovic’s agent through the back door. Maybe I was wrong on that one!
Fair point regarding the pjanic/ Arthur melo deals
I agree the Kostic signing felt like a way of greasing up Vlahovic’ agent. Maybe it was via Tare/Furlani but the change in management has gone for Ramos per Amorims request.
But… Kostic isnt lazetic … maybe im wrong but I think hes actually talented. Whether he fits into Amorims system will wait and see, but im (naively) optimistic !
Forza Milan
100%. Somebody over there is doing their job.
Thank you Belgium and CdK.
So they want to copy rebic-andre silva deal. So Gila 10m euro and that youngster 20m euro? RM will not want to do business with lazio anymore if that happen, weka weka weka
