Le10Sport: PSG place new bid of €40m in attempt to beat Man Utd, Man City to Milan star

By Oliver Fisher -

Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo has placed a second offer for AC Milan midfielder Ismael Bennacer, a report claims.

Friday’s edition of il Corriere dello Sport confirmed previous discretions from France claiming that PSG and Man City are strongly interested in signing Bennacer – with a €30million proposal from the Ligue 1 club already rejected.

Then, French outlet RMC Sport (via Sportsmole) claimed that Manchester United are the latest club to register interest in the Algeria international, who won Player of the Tournament at the 2019 African Cup of Nations.

According to French outlet Le10Sport, PSG are not letting up in their pursuit if the 22-year-old and have made a fresh bid to try and sign him.

This time, the Parisians have put forward a figure of €40million, a sum which is gradually approaching the demands of the Rossoneri.

It must be said that PSG are well aware that competition is lining up for Bennacer, with Manchester City also very interested, so now it will be up to Leonardo to convince the player of their project.
