An image has emerged which allegedly shows how AC Milan’s home shirt will look for the upcoming 2026-27 season.
According to Footy Headlines, the next home shirt – which will again be made by PUMA after the fairly recent multi-year extension – features wide classic stripes inspired by the 1998-99 Adidas shirt, marking a return to traditional design.
The kit incorporates a black collar and sleeve trim with a red stripe inside. After this season’s monochromatic club crest, one which divided opinion, the leak suggests that the ‘regular’ version of the badge in full colour will be back.
As the website adds, since taking over as Milan’s kit manufacturer in 2018, PUMA have released only three home shirts with traditional striping. Those were in their first two seasons (2018-19 and 2019-20) and again in 2022-23.
All other shirts have featured some kind of experimentation, from graphic patterns within the stripes to differing widths. We’ll see if this leak from Footy Headlines marries up with the launch, which will either be towards the end of the season or early in the summer.
