Rafael Leao shone the brightest last night as AC Milan sealed a spot in the semi-finals of the Champions League and his amazing solo run set up the decisive goal.
Ismael Bennacer’s goal in the first leg gave Milan a 1-0 lead to defend in Naples and they extended that to two with Giroud’s finish after an amazing run by Leao before the half-time interval. A Napoli fan filmed the entire run, and it makes for brilliant viewing.

To those who perhaps don’t understand Italian the fans are basically saying: “Leao is the best Left wing in the world and deserves the player of the tournament award, and that Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is a fraud”. “They also apologize for underestimating Milan” hence the hands gestures 🤲🤌.

Kvara is not a fraud but against Calabria and another player he couldn’t do much. He just doesn’t have enough speed to get away like Leao can. Against lesser defenders and less organised teams Kvara has so much quality in everything he does. We were lucky he didn’t score twice this game.
I wouldn’t mind having both on our team. Too bad it didn’t happen.
Well, I will say Kvaratskhelia is not a fraud, but you need to understand that #milan Captain was just too good for him, #calebria is just too good but a lot of people don’t understand him…. He is a captain who doesn’t talk and doesn’t proud but always give his best…. Know that even Di lorenzo can’t do up to what Calebria did against Kvaratskhelia, just know that nobody is presently better than Calebria at that position(2) in the champion league and seria a.

That’s the simple truth, people don’t recognise how good Leao is until he leaves milan. Who can we sign better than him??
Look, Kvara is no scam, he is a beast on one-on-one situations, but that’s his game. Credit to Pioli, he figured that out and Credit to Calabria, but he could have been roasted if the job was his alone. Calabria was always supported by Krunic and that’s the magic, as good as Kvara is, he lacks the dynamism to cut in between two good players, and that’s where Leao excels. Kvara managed to cut in between Calabria and Krunic on only one occasion in the entire match.
Leao is a mixture of the classic T. Henry and the modern Mbappe, his insane acceleration makes it easy to ghost defenders. Kvara isn’t bad, he just got figured out.
