Rafael Leao reached 200 appearances with AC Milan during the 2-1 win over Fiorentina 10 days ago, and his achievement was celebrated at Milanello today.
Leao joined Milan in the summer of 2019 from Lille and it has been quite some journey to this point. He marked his double century of games by scoring the winner against Fiorentina with a lovely run and finish.
As usually happens in these cases, before today’s training began in view of the match on Thursday against Roma, Milan CEO director Giorgio Furlani plus Geoffrey Moncada and Zlatan Ibrahimovic gathered the team around to commemorate Leao’s landmark.
The winger was given a medal, as also shown by the club in a post on their official channels with the caption: “Recognising an important achievement.”
