CM: Leao’s departure could be postponed as entourage struggle to find suitable Milan exit

Rafael Leao’s future is one of the biggest topics at AC Milan this summer, and he seems to have his future laid out. But no one else does.

The summer started with Leao stating his desire to leave Milan, and then he did it again and again. Milan matched that stance; perhaps they’d made it before the Portuguese, but they agreed that his future was away from San Siro.

However, no one appears to agree with that, really. Interest is low – at least from where it should be coming from – and Leao’s entourage are having no luck.

Heading to postponement?

As Calciomercato.com writes, Manchester United and Barcelona – who were both interested previously – appear to be going for other targets, or just no one at all. So, after all the anticipation and desire to move to the Premier League, there is no interest from there yet.

Turkey and Saudi Arabia are the only two options on the table for him currently and both destinations would accept him with open arms. Yet, he is not of the same view. He’s not sure about either destination.

Because of this impasse, the report suggests that a move may even be postponed for a year, only if everything remains as it is now. What had seemingly been decided by Leao, may now be decided by everyone else.

        1. That the website is in English. You have to be a clown to write in your language, that 90% of people here don’t understand.

          1. Pavlovic, Modric and Pulisic would understand this and so would Krunic, Rebic, Jovic, ibrahimovic and so many other players. I’ve never seen you or him object when someone wrote a comment in Italian (or even Swedish or Norwegian for that matter) language (not that I think (that) you should have done that, don’t get me wrong, far from it) yet this particular language somehow bothers you two. Perhaps this is just a coincidence and a minor misunderstanding of sort, let’s leave it at that for now.

          2. Who cares? It is an Italian club and website in English. Even Italian people here write in English. I’d ask you not to be a clown but that is your job, right?

Not only a clown but a little bi*ch that makes up someone hates them instead of understanding the obvious reason.

          3. Perhaps you’re just a lifeless mo*on that spend his days writing stupid comments here aka “MM- Gila, Stones, Pavlovic- Dedic/Dodo/Doue, Goretzka, Rabiot, Guerreiro-???, Pulisic-Ramos;

Torriani (Terracciano ?)- KDW, Gabbia, Odogu-
            AS/Athekame, Modric (Comotto), Ardon (???), Bartesaghi-???, Nkunku (Cisse)-Icardi (FC/AK);”

            Maybe that is your problem?

          4. The only thing that’s obvious here is that you’re sick and twisted, I’ve figured that out practically right from the beginning, it didn’t take me long to realize that you are just a plain low life with no self-esteem. I (have) asked you more than nicely and explained this patiently because you clearly have double standards even if you don’t want to admit it and this is your response? You deserve everything bad that’s coming your way from now on, despicable maggot, pray we don’t ever meet face to face because if it so happens that our paths cross, you are done, believe me.

          5. Sempre Milan, you should intervene right now and delete this comment in Serbian language, you should know that this i*becile had used a curse and was swearing at me and my family.

          6. All it takes is Google Translate bro. The only little b*itches here are the ones that make a meal out of nothing and then resort to spewing trash about people who disagree with them. Seek therapy.

    1. Leao destroyed himself. He is the only one to blame. If he does not want to stay then go. Thank you for scudetto and bye bye.

      1. Some say he would have become the GOAT – even better than Messi – but everyone else is to blame. Fans, teammates, coaches. Everyone. Except him and his attitude. 🤷‍♂️

  1. Reality check nobody wants a lazy player who plays 3 good games per season, he forced his exit now he either goes to Turkey or Saudi or stays and be treated like a Inter player. He mare his own bed.

  2. I’ve said all along that Leao is staying as Leao was not going to get the offers he wanted. He also needs to play to raise his value. Sitting him on the bench will only make matters worse. As ACM needs money, I believe that Pulisic is more likely to be sold. He won’t go to NYCFC, but if a decent offer comes in from the EPL he would go there. Roma????? LOL.

  3. If he stays, then f****** bench his a** for the entire season, strip him off his 2nd captain duties completely too. Might as well send him to play with the Futuro every now and then. Leao and his antics, honestly. Since when did AC Milan become a club for pampering divas like him!?

Oh and here we go with these VIC comments. BlablablaVIC, blablablavic, blablablavic…the best VIC that this club has ever had and perhaps ever will, is only Dejan Savicevic. Period.

    1. Another one bite dites the dust (although I’ve already noticed such comment from you just
a few days ago), I guess.

    2. Another one bites the dust (although I’ve already noticed such comment from you just a few days ago), I guess.

  4. You either die a hero or live long enough to become the villain. Isn’t that how the saying goes?

Leao staying here for another year is a solution that would benefit no one, and his agents have to explain that to him. he doesn’t fit Amorim’s system and press and warming the bench for a year will do him no favors. He may not like Turkey or Saudia but that may be all he has to work with.

  5. he became nowdays Balotelli & that’s why coach need to keep young talented as far as they can from Z.
for me it’s ok if Leao stay, he will get boo w/out that statement, if he stay i hope he proof by his onfield act. Leao at worst still better than kunku & gimz

  6. Well, he’ll be a really expensive bench player for us this year lol. He doesn’t want to swallow his pride and go to a “not so sexy” team and prove he belongs on a top team. He thinks he deserves Arsenal or Bayern. I think his “potential” (which is what we seem to always discuss with Leao) would be equal to Arsenal, who just sold trossard or Liverpool who could really use a winger right now. The fact that none of these clubs are asking for him should give him a wake up call. It probably won’t though and that’s why he’s all potential with little blips of greatness. He cannot start for this team especially with the high press requirements with the new system. He’ll be an expensive bench player. I think I saw Revolt say something about a loan, that would be a good idea. Maybe loan to a top team as a trial run with an option to buy. That would be great.

  7. once again the clown show is on full display. Outside of Modric, Rabiot Pulisic and Maignon Leao is Milan’s only other quality player that on his day is definitely WC. His attitude has never been questioned by anyone within Milan, only the muppets in here. He was Milan’s top goal scorer all while playing out of position and injured…and here we come to the twilight zone to hear the usual low IQ, know nothing, posters complaining about the player whose goals have Milan at least in the Euro League. On top of that the same group want Milan to keep the most useless players in the milan squad. What a bunch of dreamers!
