This morning, La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) reported that the meeting between Leao’s entourage and the Rossoneri management that was expected to take place today was in fact not on the cards, and that there are no further summits scheduled amid worries over issues such as agent commission and the release clause.

According to what is being reported by MilanNews however, contacts between the parties are actually going on regularly. The entourage of the Portuguese forward are continuing to talk with the Milan management, with the intention of finding an agreement with Milan ‘soon’.

The report does not mention whether there will be a face to face meeting today at Casa Milan involving Maldini, Massara and Dimvula, but it does at least downplay the dramatic spin La Gazzetta had put on things.
