AC Milan are looking to secure the renewal of Rafael Leao and his lawyer will be in Italy over the weekend, according to a report.
Calciomercato.com write that the talks for Leão’s renewal with Milan are more open than ever and Paolo Maldini wants to secure an agreement before the end of the month, perhaps as early as next week when he meets the player’s father Antonio who has already arrived in Italy.
A meeting has been planned for some time to formalise the latest offer: a salary of €7m net, including bonuses, per season. The Rossoneri management reached a draft agreement with Jorge Mendes – consultant to Leão’s father, who will be at the Roma game – but next week’s meeting is expected to be attended by Ted Dimvula.
Dimvula is the lawyer who has held the power of attorney since last June and so his approval is also needed to get everything signed. Leao feels at home at Milan though, and still has several targets to achieve.
