Rafael Leao did not hide his unhappiness after being substituted during AC Milan’s defeat to Lazio tonight.
Milan missed out on the chance to cut the gap at the top of the table as they were beaten 1-0 in the capital. A Gustak Isaksen strike in the first half earned the three points for Lazio, who did a league and cup home double over the Rossoneri in the process, both by the same scoreline.

Moments after Leao had made a run in behind that Christian Pulisic opted not to try and find, he was taken off. The Portuguese was visibly angry and had to be calmed down by Mike Maignan, then when Massimiliano Allegri tried to give him a hug he shoved him away.
Allegri went back in for a second hug and was a bit more successful, but Leao was still shaking his head on the bench in the closing minutes.

Leao will never be a professional player. I don’t want to see him in Milan squad next year beside Estupiñán.

Would be interesting to know what is wrong with him. He’s a mere shadow of himself. Slow and agile as a truck, this isn’t Leao anymore.
I’ve criticized Leao for lack of effort in previous seasons because he was in his natural positions. But I can’t criticize him this season because he’s playing a position completely unnatural to him and it’s visibly catching up to him …
It’s one thing to play Leao and Puli out of position as to not provide any reference to opposition, but when it has clearly not been working all season, it’s on Allegri to come up with a Plan B to get more out of his players …

Leao should play from the wing, They should try and play him as a left back and see if he doesnt perform.
Alegri is getting it all wrong uptop and thats why we keep drawing games or wining by 1 goal margins.
Plan is for top 4 but the best way to get top 4 is if you go for the title. you cant miss it.
The formation needs to change Leao is not a 9 stop forcing him to be one, Milan wil make top 4 but the management need to really address their issues, the squads issues and do more in the transfer market. Sorry to say but any ST less than 50 or 60 mill probably isn’t going to score the goals we need, Fullkrig, Jimenez, still don’t know why we bought Nkunku who does nothing

Theo was made the scapegoat and Leao was tactically absolved for his part in last year’s fiasco. Now we see why he should have been sold last year together with Theo if all was fair. But alas,it is not. Pulisic plays on the left, he was moved to the right because of leao and even forced to play center. He may not score but he still covers more ground that Leao. Leao feels he is doing the team a favor by being on the pitch, he took the #10 jersey to signify he is the best player on the pitch, but he is the least creative. He has just one skill set: RUN.
Now with his groin problem, we see that he has lost his bite, add the extra attention from defenders while playing CF in enclosed spaces, and we get a sulking player, vexed that he was not given a pass! Need I remind him, who lost the ball when mikhytarian surged forward to almost score us, if not for magic Mike? Leao! To make matters worse, he was strolling after losing the ball.
He can’t tie modrics shoelaces, a ballon d’or winner at 40years sprinting more than a 26-27yr old prima Donna. Someone should put this guy in his place.
Had anyone sulked and protested when he made his runs to the byline and ballooned the ball with no final pass?
Geez, he has been pampered as the saviour of Milan, when he his best has passed already. He has never hit 20goals a season with all his pace and acceleration! His highest tally of goals was 15g 8A. His overall record is still not up to Pato’s record, so why all the fuss?
Our #10’s were players like Rui Costa, Boban, Seedorf etc. known for their creativity.
Leao is a one trick pony, even before his health concerns, he was a traffic cone in our own half. Just there to block passing lanes, hardly making any tackles. He thinks he is doing us a favor by playing for us!
I am so bored of this POS of a player. Ship him out. Even if you put him in LW he will not be able to accelerate these days. His groin is all fvcked up, his only trick is now all nullified by the injury. And he shows no signs of emotional intelligence/maturity. Yes, people might do him wrong on the pitch but his attitude does not have to stink so badly in response. He cannot justify his stinky behaviour by pointing at other people’s wrongdoings.
