Rafael Leao has thanked team-mate Zlatan Ibrahimovic for the advice he has received so far as the pair continue to develop their partnership.
The duo started up front together during last week’s 2-0 win over Cagliari and both got on the scoresheet; the Swede securing his first goal of his second spell at the club.
They have also both been given the nod for the game against Udinese at home on Sunday afternoon.
Pioli’s side will be looking to avoid another disappointment like the 0-0 draw with Sampdoria earlier in the month and build on the 2-0 and 3-0 wins against Cagliari and SPAL respectively since.
Milan will also be looking to exact a bit of revenge, as Udinese prevailed 1-0 in the opening game of the season to give Marco Giampaolo the worst possible start to his time as boss.
“We are ready to pick up another three points in front of our fans and we want to do it above all for them,” the striker told Milan TV (via MilanNews.it).
“Ibrahimovic is giving me a great deal of advice during training. We both found the net during the last match against Cagliari, so our rapport is improving rapidly.
“Now we must try to score as early as possible against Udinese, so we can start to put the pressure on them.”
