After 12 games in the league, AC Milan have collected an impressive 32 points and are yet to lose a game. They have a goal difference of +15, having found the back of the net 26 times thus far.
The Rossoneri have indeed started the season well and it’s clear that they will be fighting for the Scudetto. With the international break in full swing, it’s interesting to take a look at some stats from the first 12 games.
As per the official site of Serie A, Rafael Leao is the player that shoots the most for Milan. He has tried his luck 31 times, comfortably in first place on that list. The man in second place is none other than Davide Calabria, who has 17 attempts.
It’s not exactly who you would guess to be that far up, but the right-back has made his way forward several times this season (two goals). Then we have Ante Rebic (16), Alexis Saelemaekers (14), Sandro Tonali (13), Brahim Diaz (12) and Zlatan Ibrahimovic (12).
Saelemaekers should feel the need to improve, seeing as he’s the only one of those that hasn’t scored yet.
