AC Milan forward Rafael Leao has joked that Serie A seems too easy for him because of his speed and skills, and revealed what he likes about living in the city.
Leao was interviewed in the Kick Game shoe shop which recently opened in Milano. In the chat – which was published on the store’s YouTube channel – he spoke about playing in Serie A and demonstrating his qualities.

“Is Serie A too easy for me because I’m fast? It seems so (laughs). I’m in Serie A, I was in France before, and the first year was difficult. But then with some skills and speed, the second year was much better and then I grew more and more. We played against Tottenham and won the first leg,” he said.
“I have to show the world what I can do on and off the pitch. London? I don’t like the weather (laughs). It was my first time in London, I went shopping.
“My favourite things about Milano? The Duomo, shopping, clubs, food. Better than in London? I don’t know, I haven’t tried (laughs).”

But not as easy as renewing your contract.
😂😂😂
If this was something Kvara said, who is destroying the league since day 1, I would have understood, but Leao!
Took him almost 3 years to even become a starter but supposedly it’s too easy for him.
Serie A is the league that fools people into actually believing that you are some big player.
He is right though that his speed and strength make him good in serie A, but if it is so easy for him why are his performances and numbers so poor?
Also Why has he not done anything outside of serie A, like in European competition or in the national team? He played a combined 90 minutes at the WC over 5 games starting ZERO games. Even though CR7 was benched Leao still wasn’t picked to start but some other player younger than Leao played.
When something gets too easy in life, if you wanna continue to grow you gotta go to another level. Make the jump to a higher level league, let’s see how good you actually are.
Lukaku also thought serie A was too easy and went to Chelsea just so he can sit on the bench and come back to the same easy serie A to be Dzeko’s back up.
Very rarely players that succeed in serie A replicated that success in other leagues.
Zidane might be one of the very few that were actually good outside of Italy as well. The rest were flops
You got the point. Remember that italy and italian club are welknown for their catenaccio gameplay
Thank your for the one sided stats. Yes he played 83 mins in the world Cup but you fail to mention he scored 2 goals which makes his efficiency quite high. Higher than the starters at the very least. Him being a defensive liability was the problem not his offense. And he’s improving in that respect
Also.he was joking when he said Serie A was easy. He also said “no”. Did you look at the video or just read the words? He went into detail about how difficult Serie A is especially at the beginning
There is truth in every joke, especially here when everyone that has eyes can see that leao biggest attribute is his athleticism.
One of the goals he scored at the world cup came in the 93 minute of a 6-1 rout after he came in the 85th minute while his team was already up 5-1 and the other team had given up. In NBA terms that’s called garbage time. When you are up so much that the coach towards the end of the game throws in the players that rarely play and usually just sit on the bench and wave towels.
‘Him being a defensive liability was the problem and not his offense’. Defense mostly comes down to effort, if he is a liability at tracking back is because he is lazy.
But the point is still that he didn’t start a single game at the WC, even in Portugal’s 3rd game of the group stage when they played mostly reserves since they had already qualified for the knock out stages
Ok so you just simply don’t like Leao, context or stats. Got it!
😂
That was all context and stats.
You braged about leao efficiency at the WC and I gave you the stats and the context.
I actually like Leao, because he is a Milan player and root for him, hope that he will finally learn how to play football and maximize on his God given physical talent.
When i criticize and analize his performances I do it mostly in response to the obnoxious and delusional Leao fans who want to overhype, overvalue him, saying that he dragged Milan to the title and he was the main reason Milan won, even though context and stats says something totally different.

Amen!
First of all, for most part of the WC, Portugal played with a two CF formation, and that’s quite understandable because they had Joao Felix, C. Ronaldo, Goncalo Ramos, Ricardo Horta, A. Silva, all are CF.
The coach didn’t particularly play with wingers, and even when he played a 4-3-3 formation, his wingers were either Joao Felix, Horta, Bruno Fernandez or even Joao Mario, hell, Leao is a better winger than any of these guys even though I acknowledge Joao Felix had a superb WC outing.
I observed that that even when Portugal played with a 4-3-3 formation, one of the wingers either Bruno Fernandez or Horta will drop to the AM position to supply for Joao Felix and Ramos both playing as CF.
The issue of Leao at the WC was just like having a good player in your squad but his playing position doesn’t feature in the coach’s football ideology.
Leao was easily arguably about the best attacker Portugal had, but CF is not his best position, and that was what limited his playing time.
Too easy my ass !!!
You have to prove it more !!!
You’re not even close to Andry Shevchenko’s level yet !!!
You’re not going to be a Milan legend with that attitude !!!
