Bayern Munich appear to be concretely testing the waters amid interest in AC Milan winger Rafael Leao.

It was reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport on Sunday that Leao is in the sights of the German champions. However, Milan do not want to sell him because the new sporting director and head coach – Igli Tare and Massimiliano Allegri – want to build around the Portuguese.

The new coach has never hidden his admiration for the former Lille man, to the point that during his time at Juventus he even showered him with compliments as an opponent.

Bayern meet Leao’s entourage

According to the latest from Kicker, Bayern currently seeking reinforcements for the left side of their attack and they are ‘definitely interested’ in signing Leao from Milan.

The 25-year-old is apparently ‘not averse’ to the offer, implying he would consider the idea of making a switch to Bayern. A meeting between the player’s entourage and club representatives took place in Munich at the end of last week.

The issue for the Bundesliga giants is that Milan are not inclined to let go of Leao at present, and it would probably take an offer of €100m to make them waver in this stance.

Bayern were pushing to land Florian Wirtz but he is now expected to join Liverpool. It does however show that the Bavarian side have money to invest in the attacking department.

      1. TJ is the right one to go, no character, very egoistic and somehow nothing special especially in big games.
        Alegri is a good option.
Leao will stay to be the main power for the transition which we will play a lot.

  1. 100mil is worth it. Leao has hit the same status as Suso: big potential but refused to grow and eventually became more of a roadblock for the team. For 100 mil we can easily replace him and strengthen another position, 50 mil for both is enough to get us pretty much any promising Left Back and Left winger we want

        1. Whatever you put it, Pioli, Fonseca, Concicao… Our main guy is Leao.
He has been in the center of everything good MIlan has done in the past seasons, from Scudeto, Supercoma, to big CL wins.
He has the body language like Pogba from time to time, and its frustrating to watch. But no need to shout sell the “lazy guy”, one-trick donkey… let alone competing him to Suso.

  2. I really wish we keep him though, but sell only if it’s up to a 100m.
With that, we can get both Karim Adeyemi and Garnacho.

  3. Bro, imagine Leão in German 😂 his music career would go down the toilet. Just look at the UCL finals. Linkin Park 😂 the Germans must of forgotten the lead singer off’d himself years ago and they replaced him with a girl. Bayern would not put up with his behavior and the cold winter nights is not Leão’s vibe, he would hate it.

    1. To be fair Linkin Park has that effect on some people as it certainly also make me wanna off myself 😛

  4. Let big names go for viable sums.
Bring in players who will play as eleven men on the pitch not five or six who can/can not be bothered.
    PSG are very good example.

  5. I hope bayern get him. He will play for a club with proper defense and midfield. Not an online fan base that wants to treat him like a wingback lol Our management never built around him. We will regret it like barcelona did dembele
