Rafael Leao has been one of the best players for AC Milan this season and certainly the best in 2022, leading the line even in tough moments. Although everyone can see it, the numbers also confirm it.
The Rossoneri will face Napoli away from home in just a few hours (at the time of writing) and Leao will play from the first minute. It’s a tough fixture and Stefano Pioli will need the Portuguese winger in good form to get a good result.
As said, the numbers confirm Leao’s success this season. Among all the Milan players that have scored at least one goal in both 2020/21 and 2021/22, the winger is the only player that already has improved his record (eight goals this season against six last term).
With first place in the standings at stake, we can only hope that the Rossoneri will break the negative trend against Napoli and bring him the three points.
