The AC Milan squad were once again at Milanello on Monday, as preparations continue for Friday night’s game in Pisa.
According to what is being reported by Sky (via MilanNews), Milan had a double session today at Milanello. The team did some work in the gym this morning and training on one of the pitches at the training complex this afternoon.

Rafael Leao is fine and back in full training with the rest of his team-mates. Christian Pulisic is not yet at that stage, but he is feeling a little better. Alexis Saelemaekers recently left Milanello for checks to determine the status of his recovery from the adductor issue he is battling.
Will the American and the Belgian be back on Friday against Pisa? Massimiliano Allegri doesn’t want to take any risks and so he won’t force their return to the field. There are alternatives, and they performed well in Bologna, so he has full faith in them.
Christopher Nkunku is the top scorer in 2026 for Milan and so he seems guaranteed of a start up front anyway. On the right side, Zachary Athekame did well at the Stadio Renato dall’Ara, so another start could be good to take advantage of his confidence too.

Yeah, that’s fine. We need to be able to rely on our reserves, are else what’s the point. Nkunku seems like mayben he’s seeing light at the end of the tunnel and Athekame did just fine last time out. Just need to figure out who plays next to Nkunku. This is the most important thing. It can’t be RLC.
Let’s see- the guy who scored a goal and made the pass to Nkunku that resulted in the penalty shouldn’t play. If Leao did that we would be hearing about how he’s back for weeks. LOL. I’m just saying to judge players fairly.
ouch. guilty. RLC has been a disappointment this season for the most part. but, Jim, you are totally right on his performance last time. It was he who scored and he who made the pass that resulted in the penalty. In a sea of meh performances, his last game was actually good.
Milan must sell Rafael Leao that boy is useless and aimless in his absence the team always play well.
Hard not to agree with that statment concidering how it has looked lately. Nkunku/Fullkrug or Pulisic/Fullkrug combos have both looked better in terms of complementing each others qualities, and creating chances.
Rafa can be magical at times but he thrives to the left in a 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1. In 3-5-2 he seems lost and just get balls on his feet with his back towards goal, and a defender hanging on him, and almost always lose the ball.
He doesn’t seem to like driving forward in the middle of the pitch or going into the box without the ball for the most part. I’ve never thought he had a good understanding of the game and what runs to make in the middle of the pitch.
Lots of British media out with reports that Milan put a £48MM price tag on Pulisic and there is a lot of interest. Usual suspects Man U, Tottenham, Liverpool, etc First that price seems low, second. I can’t see club or player interested in leaving Nilan.
I believe Pulisic’s people are putting out feelers now which is why all these stories are popping up now. He hasn’t resigned and if as I believe his playing time is diminished he’ll be looking at other clubs. At this point in his career and how he had performed he is not willing to be Allegri’s ‘super-sub’. Can the club afford to leave a player worth 45-50ml on the bench as the third option? Remember they sold Tonali. If Pulisic puts in a transfer request he’s gone. Allegri can buy more defenders with that amount of money. Tell me how I’m wrong.
