Rafael Leao’s goal against Benevento away from home was voted by the AC Milan fans as the Rossoneri’s best goal this season.
Rebic received the ball in midfield and barrelled towards goal before firing a pass to Leao that he beat Montipo to, and with the keeper off his line the Portuguese forward chipped the ball over him and over a defender from a very narrow angle to make it 2-0.
Speaking to SportMediaset about the goal, Leao said (via MilanNews): “It was the best goal of my career so far, but I will try to score even more. Future? I dream of winning a trophy with Milan.”
