AC Milan winger Rafael Leao has responded to some more provocative comments from former striker Antonio Cassano about the team.
As per The Milan Zone, Cassano – who has been vocally critical of the Rossoneri on countless occasions since his exit a decade ago – stated that Lecce deserved to win Sunday’s game at San Siro based on the opening 30 minutes of action.
Leao couldn’t hide his thoughts on what he said, responding with six laughing face emojis to make it clear that he sees the comment as nonsensical.

If Antonio Cassano put as much effort in training, and eating right while playing, as he puts in criticizing players, coaches and teams on daily basis, he would have been one of the best players ever.
He is entertaining though and to be fair he is equal opportunity critic. He criticizes everybody

Man looks like he has it in for the Diavolo particularly this season.

Considering the lengths Milan went to making sure he was healthy when his heart problem was discovered, the fact he has the audacity to attack them in any manner shows his character completely.

That dude cassano wrote us off last season tipping inter Milan to win the scudeto. The pain and disappointment he got after Milan won the league is yet to fade. I don’t blame him, he’s just a bitter fella and he would bury his head in shame after we eliminate inter Milan in the next round of the Champions League.
As a fan you don’t have to have an emotional response after every comment you don’t like about your team and your favorite player.
Is Cassano wrong about the first 30 minutes or not?
He is not wrong.
Milan didn’t have a good first 30 minutes of the game, lecce had the biggest chance of that period, and if Banda doesn’t miss wide open goal, things could very well turn out differently the rest of the game.
And when it comes to Cassano, he is criticizing every team, coach and player.
No one has been going harder at Simone Inzaghi and Inter than Cassano or Allegri and Juventus, Roma and Mourinho etc.
Some were even insulting Costacurta on his birthday for his opinion on leao that doesn’t satisfy Leao groupies.
Imagine that, a Milan legend who spent almost 30 years as a Milan player, won everything several times over, is getting insulted because he spoke his educated opinion.
Costacurta has probably won more trophies in his career than Leao has scored goals.
