Rafael Leao has responded to an Instagram post which suggested that he’s on the verge of moving to Turkey, simply stating that he’s preparing for his pre-season and nothing else.
Leao’s willingness to leave Milan this summer and test his wings elsewhere has been confirmed numerous times, mostly by the player himself. However, since his dream of playing in the Premier League is slowly fading, other destinations have been talked about lately.

The hottest option seems to be Turkey, with Fenerbahce and Galatasaray both keeping a close eye on the situation. The former club even had to publish a statement, denying the rumours, but it seems the the possiblity remains.
Leao responds on Instagram
Speaking of denying the rumours, Leao did the same on Instagram last night. DAZN Portugal published a graphic with the Milan No.10 and the Fenerbahce crest, stating that “Leao is about to sign in Turkey”.
The forward responded with a correction: “My pre-season is about to begin*”. Rather than boarding a flight to Turkey, he will board a flight to Australia, where he will meet his Milan teammates on Wednesday ahead of the friendly against Inter.
Of course, an exit still seems to be the likely outcome for Leao this summer, but for now Milan need to treat him as their player to maintain his value.

Leao is very good Milan back up and rotation player.
If I were Cardinale I would negotiate his contract extension.
He is still on growth decree.
that would be like keeping a cancer because its treatment is cheap rather than carve it out.
I think Gerry’s bringing in 100mil worth of Ramos and Gila was hinging on selling Leao which Mendes probably promised him to do.
Remember, this is still the same Gerry with the same motto “recoup my money and keep me in CL”. He didn’t open up his wallet on Ramos to improve his club no matter the cost. He did it because he was likely told he’d recoup it.
Tell the dude to stay back and look for another club, no need for him traveling and ruining the new team tempo
What does he want? 8 million a season in a Sunday league, chill atmosphere, good weather, lots of goals vs weak opposition and admiration of the fans. He can continue rapping in Asia without no pressure.
Management are handling this issue rather unprofessionally, and other player moral may be affected, cus what Leao has done was unprofessional and a big insult to the club, but he is let back into the team and goes on like he is the boss. Theo didn’t even do half of what he is doing and I bet you he negatively influenced Theo.
