Some positive news has emerged from Milanello as Rafael Leao has returned earlier than planned to resume training, according to a report.
According to what is being reported by Peppe Di Stefano for Sky (via MilanNews), Leao came back to Milanello 24 hours earlier than was planned. The Portuguese winger was in fact due to return tomorrow and instead was present today where he did some lighter work.
Leao certainly had an interesting evening on Sunday as he came off the bench for the last 15 minutes of Portugal’s 6-0 win over Luxembourg. Firstly he got an assist with a lovely dinked cross that was met by Otavio’s header, and then he won a penalty after a dribble to the byline, but he took the spot kick and saw it saved.
He made up for it not long after though with another dribble infield from the left, beating two defenders before finishing calmly into the bottom corner, and you can see the highlights of his eventful cameo here.
