Rafael Leao demonstrated his frustration during AC Milan’s 5-1 defeat to Inter after the third goal went in not long after he had halved the deficit.
In the 57th minute the Rossoneri got themselves back in the game and it came through a beautiful link-up between Leao and Giroud. The striker held the ball up and sent the Portuguese winger through on goal, which he finished.
Just as it looked like being a grandstand finish to the game, Inter re-established their two-goal lead not that long after. Again Milan’s defence in transition let them down as Lautaro was allowed to square to Mkhitaryan, who took a couple of touches and fired past Maignan’s near post via a deflection.
Leao was shown on DAZN’s camera kicking out in frustration and flapping his arms, clearly angry that the hard work of his goal had been undone.

Frustration is justified, but as a new leader of this team, he let his emotions get the best of him and did not help the teams mentality from there on. He needs to start being a leader and motivate the team. Milan players basically gave up after the third goal.
Apart from Leao and maybe Theo, no one treated it like a derby. This was the same reacted of every “real” fan after this humiliation.
That moneyball logic shows that soon Leao will leave Milan.
Every year we will lose one star or good player.
If only we still have Paolo
Haha last season we had Paolo and lost four times. So I don’t think he would’ve helped much.
He acted how we all felt.
