AC Milan’s first midfield reinforcement should soon be announced as the Renato Sanches operation has been defined, according to a report.
According to MilanNews, the next new arrival after striker Divock Origi in the 2022 summer transfer window for the Rossoneri will be Renato Sanches, who is one step away from joining the Rossoneri.
Milan have been following the player for several months, so much so that directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara tried to sign him in the last few days of the most recent winter mercato but there was not enough time to convince all parties.
However, those talks ended with the aim of closing everything in the summer and now Sanches will become a new Milan player for a transfer fee of between €15-18m and with a salary of €3m net per season.
Rafael Leao has already dropped a hint too as he commented on a post on Instagram by his compatriot with red and black emojis. It seems they will unite at Milanello from July 14 when Leao returns from his vacation after international duty, with Renato set to undergo his medical examinations and report from 4 July to Milanello.
