AC Milan winger Rafael Leao is a player that is very much on Chelsea’s wish list but they have not yet opened talks, a report claims.
According to a report from Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Leao has ‘been very much liked by Chelsea for some time’ as the Blues view the Portuguese international as a forward potentially worth investing in for the future.
However, Longo adds that at the moment there is no negotiation with Milan ongoing, so they are admiring from a far for the time being, but the news must worry Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara particularly with regards to his renewal.
Without a signature the rumours of interest from top European clubs becomes more worrying, as does the prospect of having to sell him at the end of the current season (summer 2023) when he will be a year from expiry, given the subsequent risk of losing him on a free transfer the following year.
Not a reliable source tbh. He gets lucky from time to time, but most clickbait transfer insiders do too, so take this with… not with a grain of salt, maybe with one or two kilos of salt.
The fee we could get for Rafael Leao now would go a long way to becoming more solid overall as an outfit. It is just one of many good things that can come if he were to leave. If he stays, also, many good things!
Chelsea just spent 50 mil for Sterling, and now according to Leao’s agent , thru his media pawns is interested in Leao.
Jorge Mendes should talk more to his player than to make up stories for the media to get higher salary . Every week his player stinks up the field, fabricating stories about interest from other teams won’t get him a higher salary when he plays like crap

If true + if Leao isn’t willing to extend, exchange him with Jorginho + cash or Cassadei (loan with option/obligation). Solve the CM problem, cash problem and avoid loosing him for free next year. We could use Rebic and Adli/CDK for the LW

Jorginho cannot play in this current Milan system. He might be the slowest professional footballer and he is awful defensively.
Chelsea just spent 2 months negotiating with inter for Cassadei. They are not loaning him out. And just because Chelsea bought him doesn’t mean he is good. If he was such a great talent how come he didn’t play for Inter. The guy is couple months short of being 20 and instead of playing him, inter played Veccino, Gagliardini and Vidal
As much as i want Leao to stay, i also want us to sell him asap considering he’s asking for 7M and i dont think our management would accept that, so why not sell him now to avoid any drama next year?

He wont come to chelsea , why would chelsea pay 150m euro for player they can get free after 2 years. It is very easy to get him free transfer just pay commission 20m euro & salary 7m euro nett / season , more cheap than pay 150m euro now
