AC Milan are looking to do well in the Coppa Italia this season, but they will not go all out in the first few rounds of the competition.
On the eve of the Round of 32, Massimiliano Allegri stated that the Coppa Italia was ‘one of the three objectives of the season’. Now, the equation seems to be a little different. No longer are Milan just a contender for the cup, but rather the Scudetto too.

Things are flowing properly, and there is concrete proof of the Allegrian revolution taking shape, as seen again this weekend. However, the flow could be changed a little, allowing others to shine with a glimpse of caution, as Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) reports.
Opportunities and returns
Tomorrow, therefore, offers an opportunity to those who have ‘not been seen’ as much as others so far. In fact, it could also offer several first starts for new signings, most importantly Christopher Nkunku.
He has already had moments, first at San Siro and then in Udine. So, he will be hoping for his first extended one tomorrow night against Lecce, and he could start alongside Santiago Gimenez. The Mexican also hopes for a first moment, albeit in a different sense.
Cheveyo Balentien could have a showcase late on, if the opportunity were to present itself. Elsewhere, Mike Maignan could be present, to ‘test’ himself before the game against Napoli this weekend. For Rafael Leao, it is a case of prepping for the Partenopei.
Other changes
Elsewhere, Koni De Winter should start here, given he was expected to be in the starting trio for the game this weekend. Whilst Zachary Athekame and Davide Bartesaghi could both start, though one is more likely.
Samuele Ricci and Ruben Loftus-Cheek should both be given changes in the midfield, replacing Luka Modric and Adrien Rabiot. In fact, Allegri hopes to ‘spare a portion of the match for the starters’.

I hope Torrani get his chance from start
I think Torriani will play from start 100%
This is Giminez last chance to score, i hope he does, I still believe in him.
Likewise. He is lucky there arent any other CFs on the team. Having said that, Once Leao comes back, his only chances to get back in the mix are if one or 2 of Puli, Leao, Nkunku get injured.
The ones I really hope Allegri start is Torriani, De Winter, Athekame, Bartesaghi, Ricci and Nkunku.
6 new ones might be to much for Mr Careful but Lecce is not good this season and need to rotate as well.
6 bench players and 5 usual starters should work. Gabbia, Tomori, RLC, Fofana and Gimenez to complement the above 6.
Really don’t give a **** about Coppa, but hey, throw all the bench players on.
