Patrick Dorgu continues to turn heads with his performances for Lecce, and AC Milan are reportedly keen on exploring a move.
Niccolò Ceccarini has published a column for TMW which includes some updates on targets, as well as regarding the future of Tijjani Reijnders who is attracting interest from Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola.
He adds that the ‘spotlight remains on Dorgu’ but it is highly unlikely that he will be allowed to leave in January. At the end of the current season it’s ‘very likely’ that he will leave if the right offer comes in.
At the moment the asking price is around €15m, and Milan are mentioned as being interested in him. Dorgu has played both as a left-back and as a left midfielder, but it is not specified if he would be a deputy to Theo Hernandez.
The Denmark international recently extended his deal until 2029, though that was more viewed as a way for Lecce to increase their negotiating leverage rather than a sign that he will be staying for the long term.
Dorgu see player that Geoffrey Moncada in particular is a big admirer of given that his name has been mentioned in several previous stories linking Milan with a move.
No thanks we don’t need this awful player
He’s black , non italian and average player, we MUST take him 😆😆
Good long term replacement for theo, if he leaves. Parisi or Gallo are also decent options for the back up leftback position
There is a number of teams he could go to and start. Not sure why he would want to play second fiddle to Theo.
Not sure why anyone would think Theo would stay beyond this season.
I highly doubt that Lecce will sell him for 15 mil. He has a long term contract, 20 years old and a big talent who recently got his international debut + is an important player for the Apulians and gathers interest from Italy and abroad. I’m leaning more forward to that he will be sold for minimum 25 mil or something and considering that Lecce within the last year sold Hjulmand for roughly 20 mil then I doubt that they are currently in a hurry to sell at spot price.
