Leeds president admits wanting De Ketelaere and says his ‘quality will show’

By Euan Burns -

Leeds United president Andrea Radrizzani has admitted his side’s pursuit of Charles De Ketelaere in the summer and has backed the AC Milan player to come good in the near future.

Speaking during an interview with DAZN (via Milan News), Radrizzani did not try and hide the fact he and his Premier League side were very keen to sign the Belgian midfielder from Club Brugge and the summer and did manage to outbid Milan at one stage.

The player had already made his mind up that he wanted to sign for Milan and was willing to wait until the Rossoneri managed to strike a deal with the Belgian champions.

He has not been very impressive in Italy so far though but the club seem more than willing to be patient with his development given he is a young player in a new country.

Radrizzani said on the player: “Yes, we were there too but then he eventually chose AC Milan…We’ll have to give him some time, his qualities will show.”

  1. Selll CDK Ass Soon Ass possible and then Bring Florian Wirtz of B Liverkusen Imidiately and Let B Diaz go to Real Madrid Back.
And Promote Chack Traore from the Premavera.
Let R Leao leave and make his Move arround 100M ot 110M Euro Immidiately Before he Left for zero.
I aready Warned for this and told that R Leao will not Renew.
To Decide is to lead and Surviive

  2. I am on cross roads here I have always supported Leeds in the EPL and Milan in Serbia A and the champions league.

I think this guy is good but not yet Milan quality, whereas at leeds they need someone like him which will make him flourish… I wish Leeds take him and origi off of Milan and all sides win

  3. He will probably and good eventually. But like i said even before his transfer, Milan never really needed CDK.
As for Leao, he should have been sold last summer.

  4. Love the sell low buy high attitude all these armchair technical directors have. Yes sell CDK when his value is low and buy a 60M player who’s coming of an ACL injury (Wirtz) that you all just found out about from the click bait article posted an hour earlier.

    1. @David, it’s true Milan is too big a step up for him but if he had gone to Leeds we would never get him again even for 100million if he turns out a super star we all hope for now. Right now, I feel he should just go to a decent club on a dry loan to gain confidence
