Mike Maignan is one of 13 AC Milan players that are currently out on international duty, with the Rossoneri set to be back in action on April 4th. However, the goalkeeper missed today’s training with France.
The last thing that Stefano Pioli wants during this international break is injuries, given that the deciding part of the season is around the corner. As if the Italy Covid-19 worries weren’t enough, Maignan missed training today.
According to Le Parisien, the former Lille man didn’t take part in today’s training session as he’s experienced a slight pain in his Achilles tendon. The report states that it isn’t anything serious and we can only hope that it’s true.
Maignan will obviously be a very important player for Milan in the season finale, with just eight games remaining in the league. In addition to that, the Rossoneri also have the Coppa Italia to compete in, taking on Inter next.
