L’Equipe: Entourage reveals why PSG defender rejected Milan’s approach

Abdou Diallo will not be completing a move to AC Milan this summer as he was not convinced by the move, it has been claimed.

Milan have been linked with countless centre-backs during the summer mercato already from Japhet Tanganga of Spurs to Evan N’Dicka of Eintracht Frankfurt, but Diallo is one of the names that has been linked with the most insistence.

However, over the past week the speculation went cold and it filtered from widespread sources that the Rossoneri no longer consider the Senegal international to be a target, with other options being considered.

According to what is being reported by L’Equipe (via MilanNews), Diallo will indeed not be moving to Milan before the close of the window, and the reason for it actually came from the entourage of the 26-year-old.

They apparently told the paper that their client ‘is not entirely convinced by the sporting project that was presented to him’.
