Pierre Kalulu has been on AC Milan’s wish list for quite some time now. The 19-year-old, who plays as a right-back for Lyon, is a player that chief scout Geoffrey Moncada has followed and recommended the club to sign.
According to L’Equipe (via Calciomercato.com), the youngster was convinced by Paolo Maldini. The Rossoneri’s technical director presented a project that Kalulu, along with his agents, considered to be better than that of Lyon.
The French side have offered a contract renewal, eager to lock him down before the current deal expires in July. However, it will be hard for them to succeed, especially considering the teams interested in signing the defender.
In addition to Milan, per the report, Bayern Munich and Sevilla are following Kalulu with great interest. The player, though, has given his preference to the Rossoneri. An important signal for the present and future, which won’t cost them much.
