AC Milan are readying a new bid for Brest star Romain Faivre as they look to close a deal for the midfielder, according to a report.
French source L’Equipe writes that Milan have been interested in signing Faivre for several weeks and the Rossoneri made a first offer over €10m at the end of the week. Brest are asking for €15m to sell the 23-year-old attacking midfielder, and Milan are expected to return this weekend with a new bid.
It is speculated that an enhanced offer might be able to reconcile positions between the two parties, while one thing is clear in this situation: Faivre wants to join Milan. Despite the uncertainty surrounding his future, the playmaker should be part of the Brest squad which travels to Strasbourg on Sunday with the operation therefore not expected to be completed in time for him to not play a part in the Ligue 1 fixture.
