L’Equipe: PSG targeting Milan centre-back ahead of the summer

By Oliver Fisher -

Paris Saint-Germain have been linked with another player in view of the summer transfer window and this time it is centre-back Fikayo Tomori.

According to reports from L’Equipe (via MilanNews), PSG are not satisfied with just the signing of Inter defender Milan Skriniar who will arrive on a free transfer, because they are also in pursuit of another central defender.

They have a list of potential targets and Tomori is on it. In addition to the Milan centre-back, there is also Lucas Hernandez of Bayern Munich, Aymeric Laporte of Manchester City, Evan N’Dicka of Eintracht Frankfurt and Axel Disasi of Monaco.

Given there are widespread reports that Lionel Messi could leave PSG in the summer among a number of other players it could well be that the Ligue 1 champions are destined for a squad overhaul of sorts as they look to retain domestic dominance but go further in Europe.

  1. Tomori is one of our starters but… everyone has a price. PSG probably “saved” 70mn+ by Inter refusing to sell and waiting for Skriniars contract to wind down. So even if FFP gets stricter, they should have plenty of budget to buy Fik.

Would I sell him for 40mn? Hell no
    … but 70mn? Now we’re talking 😉
